This is France’s second most visited tourist attraction after Le Mont St-Michel. A magical town with golden houses clinging to the side of a cliff over the Alzou canyon. For centuries people from all around the world make the pilgrimage to Rocamadour. Regardless of beliefs, this is an absolutely stunning town. (Distance Approx 55km)

Our View - “A really breathtaking town, and pretty much a must see if you have never been before. You could easily spend a few hours here although it does get busy at times”

The Millau Viaduct (if you don’t already know) is the tallest vehicular bridge in the world. We are about (dependent on which route is taken) an hour and a half away from the bridge and even if you have little or no interest in the engineering aspect of this man made marvel you can not help but be amazed by it. Slightly further on from the bridge is the small town of Roquefort, for any cheese lovers amongst you. (Distance Approx 145km)

The gouffre is a natural cave complex which you can go down and down and down until you get to the bottom where you can explore an underground cave system which finishes with gondola rides that sail you through the wet bits. This is absolutely amazing especially when you consider that when the cave complex was first found (relatively recently) they only had candles and old ladders to explore with!! (Distance Approx 40km)

Well ok, this one does incorporate a mixture of riding and sightseeing, but the views are breathtaking and there are lots of activities in the area such as canoeing etc... (Distance Approx 135km)

The pyramid of Puy Mary at 1,787m overlooks the Cantalien Volcano, which is the largest in Europe. We ride up to 1,589m, which is the highest pass in the Massif Central. The rest, if you want to is up to you!

Our View - “As you can imagine, we ride to a height greater than good old Blighty’s Ben Nevis. Therefore the views you get are what could be described as far reaching. There is also a nice cafe at the top to!”
